Automation workflow

Workflow execution refers to the process carried out by the Nerif Network to execute a user-defined automation workflow.

A workflow consists of various elements known as steps, which include execution triggers, actions, and conditions. Each step has its own behavior defined by the workflow engine and configured by a user.

The workflow engine executes each step in a decentralized manner through the consensus mechanism. If consensus is not achieved, the execution process is halted with an error, and there is a retry mechanism to account for communication or networking issues.
